"Mica" is a collection by Brian Yates known for it's sparking effect or what is otherwise refered to as 'glitter wallpaper'. Mica mineral is formed out of a chemical reaction between granite and quartz. In a spectrum of brilliant colours, extreme heat causes the mineral to expand greatly from their original size. After this process, it is crushed into small pieces and stuck on a non woven backing to create glittering wallpaper. Finally, the surface is coloured giving an interesting textured surface. The Omxeco Mica wallcovering collection consists of different structures and combinations of mica: roughly cut mica, small mica, natural mica, embossed mica, printed mica, mixtures of mica with recycled paper or with olefin. This wallcovering will enhance any wall it adorns due to the material and structure which allows it to sparkle in colourful shades.

Ordering a sample of wallpaper or fabric is always recommended as the colour shown on your computer screen may slightly vary from the physical product itself. When scanning our wallpaper or fabric we always try to ensure that the colour matches as closely as possible, however every computer monitor has different settings for brightness, contrast etc and as a result may appear to be a lighter or darker shade than it actually is. The cost of a sample is refunded if you later decide you would like to purchase the wallpaper or fabric.
